MITRE ATT&CK Resources: This information provides an in-depth look at why MITRE created ATT&CK domains, how they maintain and update them, and how the community commonly uses them. These resources provide a basis for why Aerospace built SPARTA leveraging ATT&CK's approach.

Articles/Blog/Podcast: These are online articles and blogs about SPARTA.

Presentations

This presentation was created to assist assessors, penetration testers, and/or red teamers on a methodology to perform cyber assessments against space vehicles. The assumption is the reader understands SPARTA and comes from a testing background. The material does contain “Space 101” information to ensure awareness of how space systems operate.

This presentation was presented at the Space ISAC's Value of Space Summit 2023 which provides a 1-year update on SPARTA along with new features in version 1.5. The slides are available here and the video here.

This presentation demonstrates best practices on extracting TTPs from reports and building various attack chains using SPARTA. SPARTA can be used to build attack chains to drive baseline countermeasures and security controls for the spacecraft. Six hacks against spacecraft are presented and then combined into SPARTA’s navigator feature to demonstrate how a security engineer could better determine protections needed on their space system.

This presentation demonstrates how SPARTA can be used to build attack chains with the TTPs which can be used to drive baseline countermeasures and security controls for the spacecraft. Several hacks against spacecraft are presented and then combined into SPARTA’s navigator feature to demonstrate how a security engineer could better determine protections needed on their space system.

This presentation is a derivative of what was presented at CyberSatGov 2022 which provides an in-depth overview of SPARTA and how to use it for both ground and space segment defenses. Three use cases are highlighted on how to utilize SPARTA's information: space system developer, threat intel, and assessments/tabletops.
