Space Segment Guidance

Environmental controls protect mission hardware pre-launch and keep ground systems reliable. Consider temperature/humidity controls, cleanliness/ESD practices, and secure storage for flight articles through shipment and range operations. For the vehicle, onboard thermal management preserves margins for security-relevant processing (e.g., crypto, integrity checks) and memory stability; ground data centers and ops spaces should maintain conditions that support deterministic TT&C operations.
