Space Segment Guidance

Updates to mission risk are often event-driven rather than calendar-driven. Consider triggers such as configuration changes, new software/bitstreams, key rotations, partner-station onboarding, launch/maneuver campaigns, notable anomalies, or advisories affecting components and toolchains. Rehearse “fast-turn” reassessments in a twin/flatsat so teams can evaluate exposure and adjust controls within one or two passes, including implications for safe-mode behavior, minimal evidence capture/downlink, and temporary restrictions on hazardous commanding until confidence is restored.
