Space Segment Guidance

Denial-of-service concerns include RF jamming/interference, malformed frames, excessive command rates, parser abuse, and ground-side floods. Consider link and mode-aware rate limits on command acceptance, scheduler guarantees for flight-critical tasks, and guardrails that keep payload activities from exhausting bandwidth/CPU. Rehearse degraded-link operations (lower rates, higher BER) and verify that essential TT&C and safing telemetry remain available when resources tighten, with clear operator cues about what was throttled or dropped.
