Space Segment Guidance

Audit records should enable reconstruction of “who did what, when, and under which spacecraft conditions.” Consider including station/operator identity, command identifiers and parameters (or hashed digests), spacecraft mode and key system states at the time, and correlated timestamps/counters that survive clock drift. On-board context such as processor partition, watchdog status, and affected subsystem identifiers often shortens triage when time is tight during the next pass.
